As a small Canadian charity with research operations embedded in the communities in which we work, your donations go directly to our innovative scientific and educational programming. We pride ourselves on “getting stuff done” — as opposed to large non-profits with high overhead costs we are nimble, efficient, and action-oriented.

In 2026, funds raised via online donations will be used to purchase a solar power system for our Zanzibar field laboratory, an essential need for our program in the face of unprecedented power outages occurring almost daily as the island rapidly develops without sufficient infrastructure.
