As a small Canadian charity with lean operations embedded in the communities where we work, any donations go directly to scientific and educational programming. We pride ourselves on “getting shit done” — as opposed to large non-profits with high overhead costs we are nimble, efficient, and action oriented. Currently, funds raised via online donations will be used to purchase a solar power system for our Zanzibar field laboratory, an essential need for our program in the face of unprecedented power outages occurring almost daily as the island rapidly develops without sufficient infrastructure.
